Solar activity was very low. Region 2757 (N04W70, Hrx/alpha) was stable. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
There are no planets in retrograde!
The Solar System at a Glance
Solar wind parameters were enhanced under the influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Solar wind speed ranged from 418-557 km/s. Total field ranged from 1-8 nT while the Bz component was between +3/-6 nT. Phi was oriented in a negative (towards) solar sector.
There is a 30% chance of solar activity, with a 10% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
