Solar activity remained very low and the visible disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
There are no planets in retrograde!
The Solar System at a Glance
Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, suggested weak enhancement from a negative polarity CH HSS. Total magnetic field strength ranged between 3-8 nT. Bz reached a maximum southward deflection of -7 nT. Solar winds ranged between 375-465 km/s throughout the period. Phi angle was oriented in the negative sector.
There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
