Very low solar activity continued; along with a spotless disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

The Solar System at a Glance
The solar wind field underwent a minor enhancement. Total IMF strength increased and peaked at 9 nT at 17/0014 UTC before it unsteadily decreased to less than 5 nT later in the period. The Bz component turned predominantly northward during the early period IMF enhancement. The orientation shifted primarily southward just after 17/0600 UTC and began weak deviations around 17/0900 UTC. Solar wind speed was about 325-350 km/s until about 17/0500 UTC, when the it increased and reached a peak of 471 km/s at 17/0935 UTC. The speed unsteadily decreased afterwards and was ~400 km/s later in the period. The phi angle was mostly negative through 17/0700 UTC, and varied between sectors afterwards.
There is a 25% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
